The Promotions Committee is very involved in our Community. These are some of the projects they have worked on:

Planned and set up for the Town Hall Meeting.

Organized and served lunch all day for the all day seminar for Main Street of Missouri.

Assisted the Chamber of Commerce with Downtown Street Cleanup Days.

Washed the windows at Raytown Park Plaza.

Decorated windows at Raytown Park Plaza for the Holiday Lighting Project. Kept the windows "themed" until spring.

Distributed and Picked up Christmas Lights from the downtown merchants that participated in the Lighting Ceremony.

Help plant and transport flowers for the Main Street Spring Planter Promotion.

Help plant, carry and sell plants at the Main Street booth during Summerfest Festival.

Designed fundraiser for Summerfest and helped sell tickets.

Held raffle for Raytown Water Dept. fire Hydrant.



Some current and upcoming projects the Promotions Committee is working on:

Working with the Chamber and City to expand the Holiday Lighting Ceremony.

Change planters to Fall Flowers and move forward transplanting them into bigger pots.

Work with the Historical Society in possible future events.
